Prix de L'Arc

This meeting is of course synonymous with one of the most famous races in the world, the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe. In recent years, the race has become increasingly the popular choice of both European and International trainers aiming to land one of the last big Classics of the European flat season. However, the racecard is also packed with no less than 7 group 1 races over two days including the Prix de L'Abbaye for two-year olds and upwards.

Longchamp racecourse is located on the banks of the river Seine and only a short drive from Paris. Arc weekend brings all the glamour and elegance that one associates with the nation's capitol right to the racetrack.The area has a rich equine heritage and we suggest a visit one of the famoous National studs and the French training centre at Samur.

A visit to France would not be complete without an evening in Paris. Why not splash out and treat yourselves to dinner in the Jules Verne Restaurant situated on the deuxieme etage of the Effiel Tower. The food and service are outstanding but we need to book early!
