United Kingdom & Ireland
With such a rich heritage of horses and equestrian pursuits, there are so many events and activities to choose from in both countries. The Spring and summer flat racing season holds some of the most famous and glamorous meets in the world including Royal Ascot, York, Glorious Goodwood and in Ireland, the Derby Festival meeting at the Curragh. If competition horse sport is your passion, the All England Jumping Course at Hickstead holds two of the most famous horse shows in Europe, the Jumping Derby and the Royal International Horse Show. Ireland's Dublin horse show is also a ‘must do' to experience its charm and see fine horses and horsemanship.
If you are visiting either UK or Ireland at this time, there are also a number of special events, not all of them to do with horse sport. The Trooping of the Colour is a ceremonial occasion taking place at the beginning of June each year to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's official birthday. The pageant is awesome and a must if you are in London at this time. Another ceremonial occasion is the Military Tattoo performed by the Royal Horse Artillery at Windsor Castle. This is high season in the English social calendar and we can also arrange attendance at Guards Polo, Henley Royal Regatta and the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
