World Games
Aug 17th - Aug 31st 2014
You'll often hear it referred to by its acronym ‘WEG'. This international event is held every four years and returns to Europe after its first successful running in Kentucky, USA last year.
Run over two weeks, WEG brings together nations from all over the world to contest eight FEI (International Equestrian Federation) disciplines for both team and individual medals. The disciplines that you can see are:
Show Jumping
Three Day Eventing
Dressage
Reining (Western discipline)
Horse Driving
Endurance
Vaulting (gymnastics on horseback)
Whether for the equestrian enthusiast or even a first timer, this is a ‘pick and mix' opportunity to focus on your favourite discipline or try something new. However, there is nothing to stop you from seeing a competition every day for the real equine junky!
The main discipline events have been suitably timed to fall over a handful of days allowing for flexibility and this means that you don't have to spend the entire two weeks in Normandy to see the culmination of your favourite equine sport. But really - it is up to you how you would like us to make your stay the best!

"The entire tour was tremendous. The itinerary was splendid, and each of the speakers seemed the most appropriate one for the subject or facility being visited"
